Tucked away in an elegant mountain lodge, #AnnaBeBride Emma and Stephen celebrated their wedding day with their closest family and friends. Just 70 miles from Denver, Estes Park, Colorado is known for its secluded mountain ranges and closeness to wildlife. Incorporating their rustic environment into many of their springtime mountain wedding details, we love the non-traditional approach Emma and Stephen took when planning their classic Rocky Mountain wedding.

FIRST LOOK WITH BRIDESMAIDS

From toasting in fleece half zips outdoors to getting ready in the bridal suite, it was clear Emma’s crew was excited to see her marry the love of her life. The casual wedding loungewear she picked for their wedding morning was spot on, as was her decision to do a bridesmaids' first look photo.

Before the ceremony, her bridesmaids lined up in front of the oversized glass doors that would soon serve as the couple's ceremony space. With matching light pink v-neck bridesmaid dresses, her crew expressed shock and awe as Emma approached them in her Alexandra Grecco wedding dress.

ALEXANDRA GRECCO WEDDING DRESS

Saying yes to a sophisticated square neckline beaded wedding dress, Emma looked enchanting in ‘Aspen’ by Alexandra Grecco. The abstract beaded floral embroidery of Aspen wedding dress was whimsical, while the wide square neckline and fitted silhouette were inherently timeless. With a structured bodice and bold belted waist, this modern wedding dress with beading blew everyone away.

Since Aspen gown’s intricate beadwork is so eye-catching, Emma selected simple bridal accessories to finish the look. Wearing statement bridal earrings and a long tulle veil, Emma’s delicate mountain wedding style was rustic and refined.

PRIVATE VOWS

Following her bridal party first look, Emma also shared a unique first look with Stephen. Situated on a flight of stairs, Emma walked down to Stephen who was standing on the landing below. Staring up at her in amazement, this bride and groom first look idea was stunning.

Once they reached each other, they kissed and then proceeded to read their handwritten wedding vows. Holding each other's hand, this private moment before their wedding ceremony was so surreal.

LODGE WEDDING CEREMONY

Their wedding venue, Black Canyon Inn, boasted quite a few beautiful ceremony spots. Emma and Stephen chose ’The Boulders’ as their secluded wedding ceremony site. A new addition to Black Canyon Inn, The Boulders, was built on a hilltop and has breathtaking mountain views.

While the room itself had a contemporary log cabin aesthetic, the large glass sliding doors behind the altar almost made it feel open. Though it was too chilly to use during Emma and Stephen’s big day, the center panels of these glass doors could slide open to reveal an additional mountaintop terrace ceremony space where couples can be married outdoors with the comfort of indoor amenities.

From the reclaimed wood that lined the aisle to the massive industrial chandeliers hanging from the lofted ceilings, their chic lodge wedding in Colorado was simple and stunning.

UNIQUE WEDDING ACCESSORIES

In line with some of their other original wedding moments, Emma and Stephen made some fun after wedding outfit changes. Throwing on a fuzzy white bridal coat for wedding photos outside, Emma was cozy as the couple took lively wedding party pictures after their ceremony ended.

Once they were back inside, Emma and Stephen also changed out of their dress shoes and put on matching Nike wedding sneakers. Ending the day with dancing and drinks, the memories made at this luxe Colorado mountain wedding were iconic.
