Editorial Colorado Wedding at Planet Bluegrass Weddings
It’s not easy to combine chic wedding details with a rustic backdrop, but #AnnaBeBride Lindsay and Alex did so seamlessly. Pairing the cozy aesthetic of their Planet Bluegrass Weddings venue with on-trend wedding decor like disco balls, wedding bows, and more. In contrast to their wooded grounds, Lindsay and Alex added lush flair for whimsy. If you want inspiration for planning your own rugged and romantic Colorado wedding, keep reading this blog.
Dreamy Ceremony Altar With Artistic Wedding Pedestals
Your ceremony site is one of the most photographed aspects of your wedding day. That’s why Lindsay and Alex wanted to create a dreamy wedding altar that felt as special as the commitment they were making there. Creating organically shaped wedding pedestals that were fully covered by layers of organza fabric, these pile-like structures took on an ethereal presence of their own. Adorning the artistic wedding pedestals in Calla Lily bunches and other luxurious white and green florals, their ceremony backdrop set the tone for the other whimsical wedding aesthetic touches to come.
Wedding Dress Shopping in Denver, Colorado
Much like the trendy tone of the wedding ceremony decor, Lindsay took a stylish approach to her wedding look. Shopping at Denver Colorado’s best luxury bridal boutique, anna bé Colorado, Lindsay discovered the modern bridal line that is Katherine Tash.
Katherine Tash Wedding Dress
Blown away by Tash’s exquisite + sleek wedding gowns, Lindsay decided to wear ‘Cecilia’ by Katherine Tash down the aisle. Though Katherine Tash’s Cecilia dress is fairly simple, Lindsay knew she could make this gown her own with striking statement bridal accessories. The fluidity of Katherine Tash’s silk fabric and the structure of the gown’s corset bodice was ideal for Lindsay’s various bridal accessory ideas.
Bridal Scarf Inspiration
Pairing this silk bridal gown with a delicate bridal scarf during wedding portraits, Lindsay tied the scarf loosely around her neck. This editorial bridal ensemble was the first of many Lindsay would wear throughout the day.
Lace Wedding Cape
Later, Lindsay would change for her ceremony, wearing a stunning lace bridal cape down the aisle. This dramatic lace wedding cape had a high neckline and high-low sides. Hanging over the very top portion of her strapless wedding dress and trailing behind her, meeting the end of the gown’s train perfectly. This cape offered a more traditional look to her wedding ceremony and created a fashion-forward moment as Lindsay made her way down the aisle.
Rustic Cabin Reception with Glamorous Decor
After the outdoor ceremony, everyone stepped into the rustic cabin reception. Bistro lights twinkled from the ceiling, vintage music posters were framed on the walls, and the intimate atmosphere felt inviting.
Wedding Disco Ball With Bow
Though charming and mostly traditional, Lindsay and Alex managed to sneak in a few on-trend surprises, including a large disco ball in the center of the room. Not only was this wedding disco ball mesmerizing, but it also had an oversized bow tied to the top. Adding to the glamour and enchantment of Lindsay and Alex’s love of trends and eccentric decorations.
Satin Bow Wedding Cake
This bow disco ball wasn’t the only bow novelty that made an appearance during their big night. The stunning wedding cake had a sweet satin bow tied to the top. Cutting into this editorial wedding dessert felt like ruining a piece of art, but the taste made it more than worth it.
The night ended with blurry wedding photos, a lace bridal mini outfit change, and an exciting wedding ribbon exit. Timeless yet fresh and fun, Lindsay and Alex’s Colorado nuptials were bursting with imagination and sophistication.
