Timeless Dallas, Texas Church Wedding and Classic Hotel Reception

There are always a few details that couples feel passionate about when planning their wedding. For some, it’s the flowers, while others may find the venue to be of utmost importance. #AnnaBeBride Jessica and Matt wanted their wedding ceremony in a Catholic church. When they realized they’d be able to exchange vows at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, their home parish, they were elated by the good news! Jessica shares, “The Catholic Church ceremony was very important to us, and having it at our church was so special.”

Luxurious Dallas Wedding Reception Venue

After the wedding ceremony venue was set, Jessica and Matt set their sights on where to host their Dallas, Texas wedding reception. Location was important to them as well as a wedding venue that merged old-world charm with a modern aesthetic. Situated in Dallas’ Uptown neighborhood, Hotel Crescent Court offered amenities like lush gardens, vintage-inspired outdoor spaces, and picturesque views of the Dallas skyline.

This luxury Dallas wedding venue was an instant favorite for Jessica and Matt’s elegant reception party. “Hotel Crescent Court was perfect for our classic, timeless affair - I love the mix of modern and old-world architecture, and the lush courtyard in the middle!”

Pink Wedding Flowers for a Classic Reception

While Hotel Crescent Court set the tone for the reception’s romantic aesthetic, pink wedding flowers elevated the main ballroom. As guests entered to find their table, they were greeted by wedding tablescapes bursting with soft pinks, vibrant sherberts, and flickering candles.

The reception decor was timeless. Silver flatware and metallic chargers provided a bit of sparkle, while most linens were light gray or white. By adding pops of soft pink throughout the reception and table decor, Jessica and Matt were able to infuse a fun and lively touch that encouraged guests to unwind and enjoy the exciting evening ahead.

Pink Peony Wedding Cake

Perhaps one of the most statement splashes of pink came from Jessica and Matt’s classic pink peony wedding cake. Their show-stopping cake centerpiece fit the classic style of Jessica and Matt’s reception. This multi-tiered cake, decorated in white fondant, had fresh pink peonies organically displayed on every tier. Framing a pink monogram fondant accent in the center, this traditional wedding cake exuded elegance from every angle.

Dramatic Floral Wedding Dress

The only item with more florals than the wedding cake was Jessica’s dramatic fit-to-flare floral wedding dress. When shopping for a wedding dress at anna bé bridal shop Texas, Jessica knew she wanted a gown that was a mix of modern elegance and statement style. Finding Watters’ ‘Sirena’ dress among our designer bridal collection, Jessica was smitten with this bold floral wedding dress.

Custom Floral Bridal Veil

Taking her bridal look one step further, Jess opted for a custom veil, made with lace appliqué that matched her statement lace gown. In several wedding photos, you can see the stunning lace trim of Jessica’s custom lace veil framing the train of her floral bridal gown.

The remainder of their wedding day was spent dancing and enjoying one another’s company in this creative and posh pink vision Jessica and Matt created. “The vibes were high, the drinks were flowing, and the band was fantastic! And of course, the dress of my dreams! It was absolutely perfect.”
