Farm weddings are a beautiful way to combine nature and traditional bridal details. In the case of #AnnaBeBride Kirsten and Brett, the inspiration for their lavender-themed wedding originated from their love of Fragrant Isle Lavender Farm. Drawing inspiration from this farm’s enchanting landscape and 14 different varieties of lavender, Kirsten and Brett decided to create their own lavender-themed farm wedding at Dixon's Apple Orchard in the countryside of the Chippewa Valley, Wisconsin.

Lavender Bridal Perfume

On the morning of their wedding, Kirsten’s bridal details were gently styled to create memorable wedding photos. Among the wedding detail photographs Alisha Marie Photography captured were Kirsten’s light blue Badgley Mischka wedding shoes and her floral lavender bridal perfume.

By selecting a lavender-scented bridal perfume, Kirsten embodied the calming nature of her exquisite lavender theme. This light and floral fragrance was ideal for her time spent getting ready. Not only did Kirsten smell delightful day-of, but now she is able to wear her wedding day scent on special occasions. Bringing her back to the day this new chapter started, her lavender bridal perfume is a treasured keepsake.

Lavender and Baby’s Breath Bridal Bouquet

Speaking of floral scents, Kirsten was equally as meticulous in creating the perfect lavender bridal bouquet for their farm wedding. Kirsten’s rustic wedding bouquet included fresh lavender sprigs, baby's breath, and greenery. The pops of purple among the white and green bouquet perfectly reflected Kirsten and Brett’s wedding color palette. Walking down the aisle with her lavender wedding bouquet in hand, Kirsten was able to take a deep breath of soothing lavender fragrance before making her way to Brett.

Sparkly Floral Wedding Dress in Minneapolis, Minnesota

While lavender was the wedding’s main floral focus, Kirsten’s floral wedding gown also made quite the statement. When shopping for a wedding dress in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Kirsten came across Anna Bé Bridal Boutique. Her gown, ‘Valencia’ by Dany Tabet was on the rack glistening as she entered the Minneapolis bridal shop. Selecting this sparkly floral wedding and ultimately falling in love with the intricate organic beading for her whimsical farm wedding, Kirsten quickly said yes to this statement bridal gown.

Lace and Chiffon Bridal Veil

The fun floral bridal details didn’t stop at Kirsten’s dress. Kirsten completed her wedding look with ‘Escada Veil’ by Untamed Petals. This hand beaded bridal veil had soft lace and chiffon petals that created a floral gradient that got denser at the veil’s bottom. With dainty touches of pearl embroidery and delicate floral finishes, this Untamed Petals veil completed Kirsten’s fanciful farm bridal look.

Outdoor Garden Ceremony

When Kirsten reflects back on their wedding day, she’s grateful for the gorgeous weather and the presence of her and Brett’s loved ones. “It was a beautiful day- perfectly sunny and warm! It was amazing to be surrounded by all our loved ones while we devoted ourselves to each other.”

As they exchanged vows at their outdoor garden ceremony, they stood underneath a wooden pergola. Rustic tree stumps decorated the base of the pergola and a romantic chandelier hung from the rafters. Kirsten and Brett’s guests were mesmerized by the natural beauty and Kirsten and Brett were thankful for the tranquility the farm provided for their ceremony.

Indoor Twinkle Light Reception

After they exchanged vows, the transition to an indoor reception began. Unlike the simplicity of their rustic outdoor ceremony, guests were greeted with the glimmer of hundreds of twinkle lights. Greenery installations hung from the ceiling as did glass bulbs that reflected the warm glow of the chandeliers and fairy lights hung throughout the space. This magical evening atmosphere was the perfect spot to celebrate with their loved ones. Cutting into their naked wedding cake and enjoying pastel wedding cupcakes, the night was spent enjoying treats and each other’s company.
