about maison margot

Maison Margot was founded by designer Shiran Navon, whose background in couture patternmaking shapes the brand’s distinctive silhouettes. After studying advanced patternmaking techniques in Italy, Shiran developed a design approach that focuses on structure, precision, and highlighting the natural lines of the body.

Her early inspiration came from her great-grandmother Margot, who introduced her to the world of haute couture and the dream of designing gowns that help brides feel extraordinary. That vision continues to guide the Maison Margot philosophy today.

Shiran collaborates closely with textile designer Ella Kaliski, her sister-in-law, whose expertise in fabric development brings unique textures and custom materials into the collections.

Together, their partnership blends technical fashion design with innovative textiles, resulting in bridal gowns that feel both luxurious and distinctive.

Maison Margot Wedding Dress Style

Maison Margot designs often play with contrast. Delicate lace paired with sparkle, billowing chiffon skirts balanced by sculptural corsets, and vintage-inspired details reimagined with modern tailoring.

Many gowns draw inspiration from Victorian-era romance. Hand-sewn embellishments, refined textiles, and architectural patternmaking create designs not for the ordinary, but for the bold.

The result is a collection that feels polished, dramatic, and fashion-forward while still honoring timeless bridal tradition.
