OUR VALUES

AUTHENTICITY

From the experience we offer brides to the promises we make and values we hold, the baseline is authenticity. We are always honest and celebrate others in their unique individuality.

Improving

We actively seek out and discover new ways to grow. We live on the lookout for better. And we bring this value to our collections, our processes, ourselves, and our community.

Community

Our anna be + a&bè teams, our designers, our brides, and our local wedding vendor communities are all in it together. We value teamwork in no small way.

Fun

We keep it lighthearted remembering love, it’s the whole damn point and weddings are one thing in life that are undeniably meant to bring out the fun. We are lucky to spend our days with dresses & brides and make the most of it by prioritizing a good time for our team and guests.

Design

Our dresses, our spaces, everything we create is with intention. We revel in excellent design.

Integrity

We are the straightest of shooters. We strive to create and highly value open lines of communication.

Inclusion

We are a safe place for our brides, our team, and our community where everyone experiences a true sense of belonging and encounters emphatic hearts and open minds that have their back.

our commitment to inclusion

Size Inclusivity

We’re continuously working with our designers to eliminate plus-size fees and extend size ranges with a goal to reach zero plus-size fees across all of the designers we work with.

We are committed to investing in a wide range of sizes for our stock pieces. While our collection includes styles above and below this range, the majority of our collection is size 8-12. To see our collection of styles that range from size 16-24, please check out our size inclusive inventory boards on pinterest. Our stylists are trained to help you envision the fit by clipping, pinning, and paneling each gown as samples fit no one perfectly. We are consistently working to expand the options for all body types in our stores. reach out to your local shop with any and all questions!

We have and always will use The Label to create multiple styles that will be available in an inclusive size range.

We’re committed to ensuring we have inclusive representation by hiring size-inclusive models.

We are practicing and learning about body neutrality and making sure all bodies are treated equally.

LGBTQIA+ Inclusivity

We invest in annual training to ensure we are creating a safe space in our shops and within our company for our LGBTQIA+ customers and employees.

To make it known that we are a safe space, every shop has an “all are welcome here” sticker at the entrance and we’ve included this in the footer of our website as well.

We addressed the assumption that a bride must identify as a specific gender by removing gender-identifying pronouns from our copy, language, and branding. A bride, a couple, a groom, a partner, a babe; however you identify within the wedding sphere are all welcome and we have the perfect wedding dress for you.

We respect yours and your guests' pronouns.

Diversity + Supporting the Black community

We have evolved our efforts to specifically support more women of color using Babes on a Mission. We have narrowed down from 6 to 4 organizations to concentrate our giving and have added Loveland Foundation and ACLU as 2 of the 4.

We have created resources for our brides to connect them to a diverse group of vendors.

We have invested in, and will continue to invest in, company-wide diversity training led by members of the Black community.

We’re committed to increasing the diversity of our team: from stylists to leadership. We will be auditing our team twice a year.

We’re committed to hosting bi-monthly internal book clubs in less formal settings that encourage discussion.

We’re committed to ensuring we have inclusive representation by hiring BIPOC models, couples, and creators.

We know this list is not perfect and there is still work to do. We always welcome and appreciate feedback from our community so that we can continue to learn and improve. To share suggestions and feedback, please email info@anna-be.com.
