Stylish Lawn Wedding at St. Julie Hotel: Real Wedding — Alison + Kevin

When you want to get married in the mountains, but also want an unforgettable luxury wedding with spacious accommodations. #AnnaBeBride Alison and Kevin got the best of both worlds with their downtown Boulder, Colorado wedding at St Julien Hotel & Spa. St Julien Hotel’s lush garden and terrace areas served as the perfect ceremony spot. Just a short walk from mountains, their breathtaking mountain wedding photos were one of the many elements that made this Colorado wedding venue with mountain views stand out.
SOMETHING BLUE ACCESSORIES
Alison started her morning in a white silk bridal robe with cutout lace embroidery. Her wedding dress was hanging amongst her bridesmaids' gowns and her accessories were arranged neatly for stunning flat lay wedding photos.
Underneath her bridal jewelry and wedding rings, Alison’s vintage handkerchief was folded into a square. The delicate lace trim matched her intricate bracelets and necklaces. With a bold blue flower sewn onto the corner of this embroidered wedding handkerchief, Alison’s something blue was easy to spot.
Not only did her lace handkerchief lend itself to this colorful wedding tradition, but so did her satin strap bridal heels. These light blue Badgley Mischka wedding shoes had an embellished ankle strap. The smooth satin finish and simple design complimented her Hera Couture silk drill satin dress perfectly.
LE BELLE BY HERA COUTURE
Alison found her ‘Le Belle’ by Hera Couture wedding dress at our Anna Bé Colorado boutique. Blown away by this grand cowl neckline wedding dress, Le Belle is a luxe satin ball gown wedding dress fit for the modern bride.
The strapless architectural top of this Hera Couture wedding gown provides structure, while the flowy silk satin wedding skirt and high asymmetrical slit create easy movement. This wedding dress is an ideal mix of timeless wedding design and trendy details such as the corseted bridal bodice and a high-thigh slit with plenty of coverage.
LONG WEDDING VEIL WITH PEARLS
One of the many perks of selecting a sleek + simple wedding dress? You can wear a statement embellished bridal veil. Alison opted for ‘Oyster Veil’ by Untamed Petals. This chic cathedral wedding veil with scattered freshwater pearls was a dream with her off-the-shoulder silk satin wedding dress. The gown’s covered back buttons looked beautiful with the veil’s pearl embroidery.
Wearing her hair in a bridal ponytail, Alison placed the veil’s comb above her effortless wedding hairstyle. Her wavy ponytail and dramatic veil shots brought endless glamor to her pre-ceremony wedding photos.
GARDEN CEREMONY
After taking photos during their mountaintop first look, Alison and Kevin made their way to St Julien Hotel’s courtyard for their wedding ceremony on the lawn. Entering underneath a white gazebo, Alison met Kevin at the altar. Marked by a rectangular metal arch adorned in flowers, their simple ceremony decor allowed guests to enjoy the scenic views and mountains in the distance.
With white flower petals sprinkled on the ground and folding chairs adorned in greenery, Alison and Kevin’s outdoor Colorado courtyard wedding was a success.
OUTDOOR COCKTAIL HOUR
Following their ceremony, Alison went inside to bustle her gown before emerging to greet guests and enjoy their lively cocktail hour on the lawn. A band was set up underneath the gazebo and guests mingled around the patio. Breaking off at some points to take group wedding photos on the grass, this relaxed outdoor cocktail hour was a wonderful time to catch up and kick off the rest of their evening.
BALLROOM RECEPTION
Alison and Kevin’s ballroom reception began by them welcoming their wedding guests and opening the floor for wedding toasts. After several speeches were made, everyone enjoyed dinner and cake before congregating on the dance floor.
A live band made sure the dance floor was crowded and smiles could be seen throughout the night. At one point Alison slipped away to change into a short one-shoulder reception dress and metallic bridal boots.
Before the night wrapped up. Wigs made an appearance. From purple hair to mullets, these wigs livened up the party and created hilarious dance floor reception photos that will last a lifetime.
