BLACK AND WHITE WEDDING INVITATIONS
#AnnaBeBride Katy and Myles' elegant evening wedding at The Mason kicked off with detail shots of their simplistic black and white invitation suite. After capturing the wedding paper goods and Katy’s timeless bridal jewelry, their photographer, Laning Photography, also snapped a few hanging dress photos of Katy’s ‘Samanta’ by Eva Lendel wedding dress.
EVA LENDEL WEDDING DRESS
Samanta’s striking pointed strapless neckline and draped corset bodice looked regal hanging from a full-length mirror. The long train was accented by a lightweight bow and covered buttons down the zipper.
Once Katy slipped into her ball gown Eva Lendel wedding dress, the removable puff sleeves created the complete look. These off-the-shoulder elbow-length dramatic sleeves softened the contemporary aesthetic and added a sense of whimsy. With Katy’s delicate spaced pearl necklace and dainty polka dot bridal nails, the entire romantic bridal look came together with ease.
Placing Sara Gabriels’ ‘Julianne Veil’ into her slicked back bridal wavy hairstyle, this horsehair trim veil was the final touch before Katy found herself walking down the aisle.
GRAND WEDDING CEREMONY
Getting married in The Mason’s ‘Grand Hall’, their wedding ceremony was a mix of modern day details and rich historic accents. Sparkling empire chandeliers hung above their dark wooden aisle and columns framed the glamorous fireplace. With gilded antique mirrors on either side of the altar and one directly over the statement fireplace, all eyes were drawn to the warm lighting and enchanting florals that decorated the front of the room.
STREET WEDDING PHOTOS
Upon exiting their lavish wedding ceremony, Katy and Myles hit the pavement to proclaim their love and snap a few iconic urban wedding photos. Walking down the street hand in hand, you can practically feel the joy radiating in each photo.
BLACK AND GOLD WEDDING RECEPTION
Finding themselves back at the venue, their guests were met with a moody wedding color palette. Printed tablecloths were draped over round tables with alternating short white bouquets and tall glass candelabras in the center. The bold black and gold wedding tablescape was accented by gleaming drinking glasses and the room’s light brick backdrop.
At each place setting a matte black wedding menu that matched Katy and Myles’ invitation suite sat on top of a folded velvet napkin. At the top of each menu, a posh butterfly place card sat with a hand painted signature.
CHECKERED DANCE FLOOR
After everyone finished their dishes, it was time to hit the dance floor. Katy’s wedding dress was bustled and Myles slipped into comfy sneakers, before bringing their moves to the dance floor.
Hours later, as the day came to a close, guests formed a tunnel outside to send Katy and Myles off. Throwing flower petals and cheering the couple on, their classic wedding exit was the perfect ending to this stylish wedding in North Texas.
