They say rain on your wedding day is good luck. So the rainbow that appeared over #AnnaBeBride Julie and Garrett’s wedding venue must have been extra lucky. Let’s explore this couple’s charming love story and the elegant wedding details of their rustic Colorado resort wedding.

DALLAS, TEXAS LOVE STORY

Julie and Garrett met in Dallas, Texas at a rooftop concert. Garrett’s roommate (and later groomsman) was playing at a concert downtown. Attending his friend’s concert, Garrett met Julie who had joined a couple of her friend’s at this event. After meeting, the two realized their connection and the fact that their love story had just begun.

SADDLERIDGE AT BEAVER CREEK WEDDING VENUE

Fast forward to their wedding day and Julie and Garrett’s love was on full display. The two decided to get married at Beaver Creek Resort in Colorado. Their wedding ceremony was held in The Chapel at Beaver Creek and their rustic reception in Saddleridge at Beaver Creek.

With vaulted timber ceilings and stone fireplaces, this lodge wedding venue was luxurious and cozy. Julie and Garrett really made use of their wedding venue’s ample amenities. From getting individual photos on the ski slope’s gondola ride to capturing couples portraits in the meadow behind the venue. Being that their wedding was in July, the mountains weren’t covered in snow, but the lush landscape and blue skies didn’t disappoint.

Mountain views and fir trees served as the backdrops for many of their photos. From the grand wooden staircase where their wedding petal toss exit took place to the airy reception area, every corner of their Colorado wedding venue added to their classic wedding aesthetic.

ESSEX BY ALLISON WEBB WEDDING DRESS

Also in line with their timeless wedding style was Julie’s ‘Essex’ by Allison Webb dress. This strapless fit and flare wedding dress was perfect for their elevated lodge wedding. The straight neckline had a fascinating fold over detail that looked simplistic against the flower petal embroidery on the gown’s bodice and skirt. Finished off with a detachable bridal bow, Julie shined in this elegant wedding gown.

ALLISON WEBB WEDDING DRESSES IN DALLAS, TEXAS

When shopping for her wedding dress in Dallas, Texas, our Anna Bé Texas collection stood out. DARK PURPLE BRIDESMAID DRESSES

While most of Julie and Garrett’s wedding color palette was neutral, there was one unexpected pop of color that added character to their wedding party portraits. Julie’s bridesmaids wore two shades of dark purple.

All wearing the same a-line silhouette with a deep v-neckline and cummerbund waist, these formal bridesmaid gowns stood out in every photo. The structured satin material of this purple bridesmaid gown complimented Julie’s architectural matte twill wedding dress to a tee. These trendy purple shades mixed with the traditional silhouettes served a thoughtful way to combine the two styles present throughout Julie and Garrett’s wedding day.

CHEESE WHEEL WEDDING CAKE

Displayed on a table at their reception dinner were several desserts for guests to enjoy. The first was a stacked pastry wedding cake, the second a classic four-tiered wedding cake, and the third a cut cheese wheel cake. Their traditional wedding cake had white icing and was decorated with flowers and greenery. Making their cheese wedding cake even more unique, the top was adorned with custom elk cake toppers.

With one elk wearing a veil and pearl necklace and the other wearing a bowtie, these woodland animal wedding cake toppers were a reception hit. The variety of wedding dessert options and the careful wedding dessert display was one of our favorite details from their inviting and posh reception dinner.

WEDDING GETAWAY JEEP

Following their reception and cake cutting, Julie and Garrett prepared for their wedding departure. A black Jeep was decorated with a sign reading ‘Just Married’ and florals sitting above the spare tire. This Jeep getaway car was a wonderful end to their chic wedding celebrations. Driving off in style, Julie and Garrett's grand wedding came to a glam close.
