With so many wedding ideas and traditions, it can be hard to create a wedding day that feels unique to you + your love story. This blog features two #AnnaBeBrides who customized classic wedding details to make them their own. From wedding cakes and cocktails to wedding decor and more, let’s explore some elegant wedding trends and what you can do to provide your own twist.
Best Wedding Dress Shops in Denver
From top bridal collections like Katherine Tash bridal gowns and Alexandra Grecco wedding dresses, our Anna Bé Colorado boutique has the perfect assortment of romantic and unique wedding dresses in Denver. Ashlyn wanted a soft and statement wedding dress for her and Dalton’s dreamy wedding in Rifle, Colorado. Combining the couple’s love of modern design and alternative style, ‘Bryn’ dress by Alexandra Grecco seemed to check every box.
The hand-embroidered illusion tulle sleeves shimmered, while Ashlyn’s statement veil added to the drama of this delicate bridal look. Appearing ethereal with long fitted sleeves and a flutter detail at the wrist, this gentle wedding gown added to their free-spirited fairy-tale wedding style.

Boho Wedding Aisle Decor
Warm-toned linens and pampas grass are typical, boho wedding decorations. While both of these decor pieces could be seen throughout their day, Ashlyn and Dalton’s trendy wedding aisle combined both to create a rich and inviting outdoor wedding aisle.
By layering orange artisan rugs, Ashlyn and Dalton’s wedding ceremony had a boho chic aesthetic. White pedestals lined the aisle along with brass lanterns and bold flower arrangements. On either side of the aisle, guests sat in white folding chairs and looked past the altar to a breathtaking mountain view. Their Colorado mountain wedding venue was magical and adventurous.
What is Trending in Wedding Cakes?
One wedding cake trend we’re loving is unique wedding cake shapes. Seeing less round wedding cakes and more square wedding cake designs, means that couples are exploring new ways to add personality to their display pieces and decor.
Ashlyn and Dalton kept their cool wedding style consistent throughout their wedding day. At their cake cutting station, wrapped cupcakes in black and neutral paper made their dessert table pop. Standing behind their two-tier minimal square wedding cake, Ashlyn and Dalton were all smiles as they sliced into their chic cake to close out the night.

Best Wedding Dress Shops Twin Cities
The start of creating a distinctive wedding day is the overall vibe. The vibe of your wedding day will impact every decision you make when wedding planning and especially the style of wedding dress you choose.
The atmosphere Bailey and Andrew wanted to achieve for their November wedding in Iowa, was classic and relaxed. They wanted their guests to feel at ease and really enjoy the celebration, while still remaining true to the elegant wedding details that typically elevate your big day.
Finding a draped v-neck ball gown that was both sophisticated and simple, Bailey said yes to the dress at Anna Bé Minnesota. While our Minnesota bridal boutique no longer carries the designer that made Bailey’s bridal gown, they still have a wide range of timeless wedding dresses to choose from. To shop similar wedding dress designers, explore our Eva Lendel wedding dresses, Allison Webb wedding dresses, and more.
How Big Should Your Neon Wedding Sign Be?
Neon wedding signs are all about personal preference. Some couples choose to create a custom neon wedding sign with a saying that is unique to their relationship or even their wedding date. Bailey and Andrew brought a personal touch to their wedding reception by having a cursive neon sign that had their last name.
For crafty brides that are wondering what to do with neon signs after wedding, there are all sorts of ways to reuse this piece of wedding decor. Some options we love include installing your neon sign above your bed, mounting it near a bar cart, or placing it in your home office. All of these ideas are awesome ways to repurpose your wedding decor and remember your wedding day everyday.
Why Do Weddings Have Signature Cocktails?
Weddings usually have signature cocktails as a way for guests to really remember a wedding event. Regular bar drinks aren’t always that memorable, but with cocktails that reflect the bride and groom’s favorite drinks, a beloved family member, or even pets, signature wedding cocktails are a staple to many wedding cocktail hours.
At Bailey and Andrew’s cocktail hour, guests were blown away by their signature drink display. Two glass shelves held a variety of different stemless wine glasses containing their signature cocktail, ‘Sydney’s Spritz’. Named after their dog, these fruit garnished cocktails doubled as wedding decor and a special cocktail hour experience.
Simple Groom’s Cake Ideas
Two cakes are always better than one and Bailey + Andrew clearly agree. Their wedding cakes from Dutch Oven Bakery were simple and delicious. Displayed on wooden barrels at their romantic reception, their two-tier wedding cake had white icing and flowers with greenery adorning the top.
The second wedding cake, a chocolate groom’s cake for Andrew, was decorated like a tree stump and had their initials carved into the front.
Ending their big day on a sweet note, Bailey and Andrew’s wedding desserts were yet another personal touch to their darling Des Moines, Iowa wedding.
