LOVE STORY + WEDDING MORNING
Hailee and Connor met while working at Target HQ. Meeting on July 23rd, 2017, the couple got married exactly 5 years after the day they met. Waking up on their wedding day, July 23rd, 2022, was special not only because they were getting married, but also because they were celebrating this milestone anniversary.
As Hailee prepared for their ceremony, she bonded with her bridal party and family. Her bridesmaids wore silk long sleeve pajama sets with white piping and fuzzy slippers. Hailee popped against their darker palette wearing a white pajama romper and a long sleeve lace robe. As Hailee picked her wedding gown off the rack to slip it on, she was all smiles and eager to finally be wearing this elegant wedding dress.
EVA LENDEL WEDDING DRESS
Hailee found her sophisticated off-the-shoulder Eva Lendel wedding dress at Anna Bé Minnesota. Loving the refined look of ‘Jess’ by Eva Lendel dress, Hailee could imagine this minimal bridal gown making a statement at their traditional Saint Paul wedding.
PEARL WEDDING ACCESSORIES
Matching the subtle style of her simple wedding dress, Hailee found pearl accessories that would coordinate with the gown. She wore a cathedral length pearl embellished wedding veil and statement pearl drop earrings.
Along with her styling, Hailee also incorporated some special details that can be seen in her invitation suite flat lay. Hailee had their names and wedding date embroidered onto a crochet trim handkerchief. She also wrapped an antique locket around her charming wedding bouquet that held a photo of loved ones on their special day.
CLASSIC CHURCH WEDDING
Hailee and Connor’s afternoon wedding ceremony took place at Church of The Assumption. Getting married at 2:00pm, bright sunlight poured into the space. Hailee stood out amongst the ornate altar and their wedding party’s neutral colors were the perfect compliment.
Walking back down the aisle as husband and wife, the newlyweds were glowing. Stealing one last kiss at the end of the aisle, it was time to take wedding photos and head to Minneapolis for their industrial reception at Machine Shop wedding venue.
MACHINE SHOP WEDDING RECEPTION
As guests enjoyed cocktail hour, Hailee and Connor as well as their wedding party took photos around the city. Highlighting the joy of the day, one of our favorite photos is of their wedding party huddled into a tunnel and Hailee and Connor walking through.
Once photos were taken, the crew joined their friends and family for a night of fun and dancing at Machine Shop. Their seating chart even read, ‘You can find your seat here, but your place is on the dance floor’.
LARGE WEDDING DINNER
Before busting out their moves, guests enjoy a delicious dinner at their designated tables. Each round table was decorated with white tablecloths, colored taper candles, and neutral bouquets in the middle. Shiny black plates popped against the light linens and the sheen of the surrounding glassware complimented this luxe look.
The rustic simplicity of each wedding table looked luxurious against the venue’s urban surroundings. With gleaming concrete floors, exposed beams, and floor-to-ceiling windows, this historic Minneapolis event venue elevated Hailee and Connor’s polished wedding aesthetic perfectly.
Their lofty reception space was ideal for letting loose and celebrating their love. After dinner, a dessert table full of mini wedding cupcakes was put on display for guests to enjoy. Ranging in flavors from red velvet to white chocolate raspberry, these sweet treats were a tasty final touch.
