Cozy Snowy Mountain Wedding In Katherine Tash Wedding Dress

Cozy up, this snowy mountain wedding at Angel Fire Resort is truly magical. #AnnaBeBride Lauren and Zach’s minimal lodge wedding was the perfect mix of a casual celebration and an elevated event experience.

Minimal Winter Lodge Wedding Ceremony at Angel Fire Resort

When looking for a lodge wedding venue, Lauren and Zach landed on Angel Fire Resort in New Mexico. The snowy landscape this resort offered as well as the minimal charm of their wedding ceremony site was what sold Lauren and Zach on hosting their wedding weekend here.

The ceremony space was full of natural light that poured into the sleek space. The polished cement floor glistened, contrasting against the matte black suspended fireplace that hung in front of the oversized windows. Acrylic pedestals were placed on both sides of the altar and white floral arrangements cascaded beautifully down each. White candles lined the entire wedding aisle. Taper candles could be seen throughout the collection, as well as pillar candles placed in glass.

By selecting a black and white color palette, Lauren and Zach’s classic wedding ceremony space felt classic and elevated. Sophisticated details and organic touches tastefully combined to create a polished winter wedding aesthetic.

Pre-Ceremony Skiing Adventure

One thing about Lauren and Zach is that they're going to include an adventurous twist wherever they can. The morning of their wedding ceremony, Lauren and Zach could be found hitting the slopes before their big day. Heading down the mountain side by side, this wedding morning activity felt fitting for their love of nature and each other.

Katherine Tash Wedding Dress for Winter Wedding

When shopping for a wedding dress, Lauren knew she wanted a timeless bridal gown that would never go out of style. Her dress search led her to Anna Bé Texas bridal boutique and Lauren was enamored with the shop’s selection of designer wedding dresses in Dallas, Texas. Discovering Katherine Tash wedding dresses, Lauren was instantly drawn to this designer’s luxe silk material and draping techniques.

After exploring several Katherine Tash gowns, Lauren ultimately decided on ‘Ilaria’ dress. Ilaria by Katherine Tash’s off-the-shoulder straps and open slit, felt easy to move in and effortlessly glamorous.

Wedding Photos in the Snow

After their indoor ceremony, Lauren and Zach went outside to take wedding photos in the snow. During their wedding portraits, Lauren and Zach were approached by some nearby wildlife that wanted to wish them congratulations! Lauren held out her hand to a sweet deer who gently sniffed before entering back into the woods.

Custom Wedding Newspapers

After enjoying their reception for a few hours, Lauren and Zach headed back outside. This time, the two strapped on their ski gear and set out to take photos with their custom wedding newspapers. These edgy flash photos felt artistic and really captured the fun that was every moment of their wedding day.

Champagne Tower and Wedding Cake Cutting

Once back inside, the celebration continued with dinner, dancing, champagne toasts, and cake, of course. Lauren and Zach posed beside their elegant champagne tower and got epic party photos.

Later in the evening, Lauren and Zach opted for cutting their traditional wedding cake with a trendy hack. Testing out the viral wedding cake cutting technique of placing a wine glass on top of the cake and scooping the contents into the cup, Lauren and Zach enjoyed this fun moment and got playful cake cutting photos to share with their loved ones!

Mixing new wedding trends with time-honored design, Lauren and Zach’s snowy wedding day in the mountains of New Mexico was heartfelt and homey.
