Chic Minnesota Countryside Wedding: Real Wedding — Kallan + Josh

FEATURED WEDDING DRESS DESIGNER

The Label

A late August wedding in Cannon Falls, Minnesota that combines earthy wedding elements with sleek contemporary bridal design. A mix of vintage wedding inspiration and modern bridal style, we love the unique vision of Kallan and Josh’s romantic summer wedding.

CONTEMPORARY BRIDAL STYLE

Getting ready in a crinkle-pleated bridal pajama set, Kallan looked ethereal in her unique bridal loungewear sitting in a bridal suite full of sunshine. As she sat with a mirror compact in one hand and her lipgloss in the other, her sleek bridal ponytail was already in place. This slicked-back wedding updo perfectly contrasted her soft curled ponytail and classic wedding makeup.

After prepping her final makeup touches, Kallan slipped into her slip wedding dress and put on her pearl drop earrings. These Untamed Petals ‘Harper Pearl Drops’ earrings were an elegant addition made of faux freshwater pearls. Dangling just above her collarbone, these dramatic pearl earrings matched her fingerless pearl wedding gloves. Her stylish tulle gloves were embellished in an organic pearl pattern and added a twist to a timeless wedding tradition.

‘SLOAN’ by The Label

Kallan’s modern wedding dress is one of our The Label favorites. ‘SLOAN’ dress is a satin cowl neck slip dress that stands out among our The Label bridal collection due to its low back complete with criss-cross straps.

With her wavy bridal ponytail covering some of her backless gown, Kallan decided not to wear a wedding veil. Before leaving her wedding suite to go see Josh for their first look, Kallan slipped on her white wedding shoes. These closed-toe bridal pumps had a block heel and thick ankle strap for comfort. Chic and practical, we love the pair of shoes Kallan picked to walk down the aisle in.

ORANGE WEDDING FLOWERS

Kallan’s wedding bouquet and the altar floral installation both included bright orange and red wedding flowers. Though the color palette for their summer wedding was mostly minimal and included almost all neutrals, Kallan and Josh decided to add playful pops of color when picking out their wedding flowers.

The stark contrast of stunning summer wedding bouquets against Kallan’s ivory wedding dress and her bridesmaids’ white one-shoulder jumpsuits really popped in every wedding photo. With a nod to retro wedding style and their wedding season, their August wedding flowers were amazing.

GRASSY GOLDEN HOUR WEDDING PHOTOS

After an enchanting and simple indoor ceremony, Kallan, Josh, and their wedding party headed outside for photos in the natural light. This remote wedding venue outside of Downtown Minneapolis made their countryside wedding photos possible. First, posing in front of their white wedding venue with black window trim and exterior lighting. The venue’s appearance matched the wedding party’s sophisticated attire and provided the perfect frame for these fun group wedding photos.

As the sun began to set on the rolling Minnesota hills, Kallan and Josh broke off to get a few bride and groom portraits during golden hour. These picturesque sunset wedding photos capture their carefree love and will serve as beautiful keepsake portraits of their special day.

VINTAGE WEDDING PHOTOS

In some of the golden hour wedding photos on the venue’s grounds, the snapshots are grainy and have the appearance of film wedding photos. The aesthetic wedding photos are trending currently and uniquely capture the mood and magic that is present on a couple’s wedding day.

These blurry film photos were carried into the reception as black and white wedding polaroids could be seen scattered about reception tables. Creating cool wedding favors and memorable wedding gifts, we love the use of vintage film photography used to elevate Kallan and Josh’s luxury summer wedding.
