Real Wedding: Erin + Matt
Erin and Matt's wedding in Golden, Colorado is proof that a wedding doesn't need a sunny day to be beautiful! Following an elegant, rustic ceremony at the Boettcher Mansion, the couple posed for some truly amazing photos in a foggy, wooded area. The whole effect is ethereal and totally romantic! Our bride was an elegant vision in her Greta gown by Watters and her white bouquet with hints of blue evergreen needles and soft green leaves by Plum Sage perfectly complemented her dress and the ambiance. See the gorgeous photos by Irving Photography below:
Our brides shared some thoughts behind planning her big day as well as a piece of advice for future brides:
We had a "destination" wedding as far as our guests were concerned, even though we live in Denver almost our entire guest list traveled from out of town to be there with us. My biggest advice for other brides is to try to enjoy the overall day. Don't get caught up in all of the little details, you are surrounded by people who have come from near and far to celebrate with you, and that is an amazing thing!
All of the vendors were amazing, including the process of finding my dress at a sample sale with anna bé! I was really glad that I used The Knot and Wedding Wire reviews to find my vendors, if they have good reviews on those sites, they are probably a good vendor, brides are amazingly honest when it comes to their big day!
