Real Wedding: Danielle + Michael

Destination weddings are guaranteed to be gorgeous, and Danielle and Micheal's wedding at the Majestic Elegance Resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic was no exception! The wedding was a perfect combination of laid-back and elegance, with a romantic and intimate atmosphere. We love how the couple chose to exchange their vows privately before the ceremony through journals; a beautiful and heartfelt way to express their love! Our anna bé bride looked lovely in her two-piece gown by Watters, Carina corset and Amina skirt. She completed her wedding day look with a gorgeous custom veil by Sara Gabriel. Michael and I both felt it was important to write our own vows. However we felt sharing something so private in front of a large group was too much. We decided to share our vows to each alone before the ceremony. Which helped calm the butterfly's and to give us a moment to breath before all the hustle began! One more aspect of this private moment was, we each got the other a journal to write our vows in with the plan being to save the journals and write in them on every anniversary as a collection of words written to each other.
