Provence, France. Where posh meets pristine. Laidback luxury, homely linens, and the soft hush of lavender fields at sunrise. While this styled shoot took place at PepperHarrow Farm in Winterset, Iowa, we can’t stop thinking about the chic region close to Côte d’Azur that it reminds us of. Get ready for light pinks + puff sleeves. Plush vibes await.
This Shantung silk wedding gown seems to be made for countryside soirées. Though simple, the luxe details of ‘Paris’, part of Lihi Hod’s Dreams 2020 collection, brings this minimal bridal gown to life. From the sweetheart neckline with short off-the-shoulder puff sleeves, to the corseted bodice that's delicately draped in a criss cross design, this dress is utterly unique. The gown's exquisite ruched bodice accentuates the waist and wraps around to form a small bow in the back. Fluffy and feminine, Lihi Hod’s take on simplistic mystique is divine.
Following a frolic in the flower fields, nothing beats an intimate candlelit dinner. From whimsical black wishbone chairs to contrasting hues of baby pink, a blushing bridal bouquet, and gold flatware, this color scheme is flawless. While a pastel wedding color palette is typically seen at spring or summer weddings, the hint of dried leaves spark inspiration for early fall nuptials as well. With a modern wedding dress like Paris, mixing in muted colors as well as rich, earthy tones is a cool and contemporary twist. If you’re a lover of natural light, romance, and an airy wedding aesthetic, this flower farm wedding is the perfect fit.
