What you can't tell from this image is that Evelyn is the most amazing shade of mint! The gown can also be created in ivory, blush, or other colors.

Tara LaTour is a designer who consistently wows the entire team at anna be. As the exclusive retailer in Denver,  we are so proud to partner with Tara. Her wedding dresses are visionary, incredibly creative, and the bridal gowns are true pieces of art. Tara only creates one collection a year (the gowns are shown in the fall and are just beginning to arrive in the shops now). The entire 2014 collection was on the cusp but one standout favorite was Evelyn.

The Evelyn {pictured in mint green}  can be made in an array of different colors, but we're loving this cool green shade for a summer wedding.

A little bit more about the gown from Tara LaTour:

"Evelyn is one of my favorite gowns from our 2014 collection.  She is so many things in one gown; romantic, edgy, elegant, and unexpected.  Which is a difficult to embody so much into one gown things in one dress.   She is made of silk zibeline in a warm unique mint green shade that works with skin tones are both yellow, olive and pink in undertones.  We used ivory shades of lace, organza, and fringe to create more depth and to make the mint really pop.  The lace on the gowns are small appliqués that we hand sew together to create the full leave lace texture on the gown.  One of my favorite features of the dress is that it has a layer of fringe in the skirt popping out of the organza.  The inspiration behind this gown was the idea of juxtaposition.  Each gown in this collection has a sister gown to show that juxtaposition, her sister is Eva.  We created sister gowns were one has more unexpected elements in a light color and her sister has more expected elements but a saturated color.  Then we asked the question "which one is more traditional and why."  It really makes you think outside of the bridal thought box regardless of how you answer.  This collection was a study of thought and Evelyn plays into ideology behind this inspiration perfectly.
