If you’ve been searching for wedding venues in Cabo, chances are you’ve stumbled across Acre Resort in Los Cabos. This luxury wedding venue has hosted many elevated wedding days, including that of influencer couple Allison and Isaac Rochell in 2021.

This blog is all about the enchanting beauty of Acre Resort wedding venue and what #annabebride Sarah and Nick did to make their classic destination wedding in Cabo San Lucas intimate and unique.

Classic Wedding Venue in Cabo

Most would agree that the first step in planning your wedding is securing your wedding venue. Luckily for Sarah and Nick, they discovered their dream wedding venue before they were even engaged. Sarah shares, “We had traveled to Cabo for a vacation and went to Acre for dinner. After dinner I looked at Nick and said one day we will get married here.”

As fate would have it, the proposal came shortly after that vacation. “A few months later we were engaged and a few months after that we got married at our dream venue.”

Instead of spending their wedding planning time searching for classic wedding venues in Cabo, Sarah and Nick got to spend the months of preparation nailing down their destination wedding vision.

Timeless Wedding Theme For Destination Wedding

Sarah and Nick chose a timeless wedding theme that reflected their personal style. Sophisticated elements like a soft color palette, romantic floral arrangements, and graceful details could be seen throughout their elegant wedding decor.

Since Acre Resort is home to natural landscapes Sarah and Nick’s modern wedding decorations allowed their backdrop to be the center of attention. With natural elements like mango orchards, jungle views, gardens, and more, this timeless destination wedding definitely had a tropical twist.

Tropical Wedding Reception

Not only was Sarah and Nick’s wedding menu exquisite, but so was the reception experience. Taking place in an airy indoor-outdoor patio, this lush wedding dinner was the perfect mix of minimal and magical.

The roof and statement light fixture of their reception venue was made of wooden reeds. Matching the natural wood of their long farm wedding tables, Sarah and Nick opted for moody wedding dishware and utensils to balance out these rustic elements.

Dark ceramic plates sitting on stone colored napkins were placed at each table setting. White rectangular menus rested on each plate with silverware holding them down. In the center of the table, white pillar candles in glass and small white bouquets were placed organically throughout.

Modern Watters Wedding Dress

Finding a wedding dress that feels both classic and on-trend can be tricky. That being said, Sarah visited anna bé Bridal Boutique in Colorado and immediately fell in love with a Watters wedding dress that was exactly that.

‘Kai’ by Watters is a fitted crepe wedding dress with a square neckline. With illusion straps and a low illusion back adorned in sequins, Kai is equally as elegant as it is eye-catching.

When it came to styling this sparkly Watters wedding dress, Sarah kept things sleek, but playful. Selecting a bridal ponytail instead of an updo, we loved this romantic bridal pony. Wearing pearl drop earrings, a silver tennis bracelet, and a simple tulle wedding veil, Sarah’s final bridal look was breathtaking.

Intimate Wedding Ideas

After their intimate garden wedding ceremony, Sarah and Nick did all sorts of fun wedding activities. Enjoying moments like feeding goats on the property’s farm to cutting their mini wedding cake, it was an enchanting evening all around. “From the lush grounds of Acre, to the outstanding food, cocktails and service, we could not have dreamt up a better wedding if we tried.”
