Happy Little (Wedding) Campers

We've all seen the super cute flower girls, the ring bearers holding adorable signs, and children screaming and crying as their parents and family members try to coax them down the aisle with candy bribes and toy promises. Incorporating kids into your wedding and even having them at your wedding can be a stressful topic of planning. But sometimes they are too cute to resist!

Using your wedding theme, keeping the activities simple and just making the effort to keep the children busy will make you a Super Bride to the parents! And it will keep the peace at your reception. The kids can do really sweet, unscripted things at these beautiful wedding moments. The chances of those moments happening will be much higher if they are feeling the love from you! And always have a groomsmen with a candy stash in his pocket! Candy bribes can go a long way...

The pictures may look perfect but I'm willing to bet there were some not so great moments. Tears, much needed naps missed and stressed out brides are covered up nicely by those angelic photos! But what if you really want to or need to include the kids? How can you keep them happy, occupied and ready to smile at the drop of a hat? Here are some ideas:

Creating personalized goody boxes with some of the above items are sure to keep kids busy! These are great for smaller kids- just be sure to avoid choking hazards and anything that can do permanent damage to your venue...

For older kids, an interactive scavenger hunt should keep them occupied (and out of trouble!).
