So blue isn't exactly new when it comes to weddings. But I've recently been super fascinated with the moodier side of blue. Think richer, darker, but not really sapphire. I love this combination of super-saturated ultra-marine blue, toned down with a blue-based lavender, and rich mellow navy. Think of how gorgeous white and ivory will be in stark contrast to these rich colors, and when they glow under blue light, the whole feeling is other worldly and magical.
I think this could look very chic and summer by the beach (think an open air pavilion at night with tons of blue light near the ocean), but would also be amazing in the snow with everything super saturated and gleaming... even springtime with blue hydrangea and a little more white and lavender in the mix! This palate is all about cool colors, so stay away from anything that's a green based blue, as it'll pull too much yellow (no Tiffany's blue).
