fall market - 2010 {part 8}

breanna' pick: aspen by monique lhuillier

i love the beautiful texture of this gown. It combines chantilly lace, a little bit of sparkle and 3-D origami petals. The shape of the gown with the corseted top and the fitted skirt is a nice contrast to the feminine sweet details. I'm also crazy about blush right now so the blush sash sealed the deal for me.

anna's pick: sweet dreams from ivy & aster

I love, love, love the way that this dress mixes the texture of lace and tulle. It's a great short dress without being overly stylized and is flirty and fun yet still has hints of tradition.

nikki's pick: bluebell by adele wechsler

The minute I saw this dress, I smiled!  I love this dress. The silhouette, eyelet fabric, and grosgrain ribbon detail are all so feminine. I'm a city girl at heart, with dreams of a downtown east coast winter wedding. (I know, I know, it will be free-zing).
However, little miss Bluebell makes me think twice. Maybe I could change my tune...... Maybe I could get hitched in a quaint red barn, with rolling hills, in late summer, wearing Bluebell & cowboy boots. You never know. I'll keep you posted.

michael's pick: 120311 by vera wang

 I immediately fell in love with this dress because of its quintessential "Vera-ness". The soft swirls in organza, the slight shimmer of the horsehair, and the delicate pleating on the shoulders were deconstructed, modern, glam, and delicate all at the same time.
