anna bé pops the top!

Anna Bé frequently leans on many of our very talented friends in the industry to help us out from time to time with various projects. Here is where we would like to give our THANK YOU!

Sunday, November 8th proved to be the perfect autumn day to host our 3 year anniversary party. The shop was transformed into a feminine wonderland fantasy, with pale pink being the perfect accent color to our signature black and white. A bar and photo booth (complete with a red carpet) greeted guests in our lobby, and flowers by Plum Sage followed party-goers up the stairs. On the second level, hip-hop violinist Jeff Hughes and DJ Ripm were setting up to entertain as the place filled up with friends, family, brides, and brides-to-be.

Sara Gabriel, veil and headpiece maker, made custom hairpieces for all of the Anna Be employees in the evening's colors: pale pink, white, and black feathers attached to a crystal pendant. They'e so beautiful and I was ecstatic when I learned that we could keep them because I'll absolutely be wearing it again.

Another favorite (of both guests and the staff) was the photo booth. Denver Photobooth provided props and copies of the photo strips to each person who posed. They made wonderful mementos and we all had our own paparazzi moment.

The chefs at Footers Catering took over our kitchen and were so good natured about us sneaking back to test the yummy hors d'oeuvres, and Living the Sweet Life Catering provided fun twists on typical dessert fare with sweets like Hand rolled Mint Patties enrobed in White Chocolate and our neighbor Little Man Ice Cream offered up miniature gelato ice cream cones. And, of course, there was a delicious wedding cake by Kelley cakes for the guests to taste.

It wouldn't have been a party without some libations. Mondo Vino kept guests glasses filled with champagne all night -- and when they weren't in hand, they were resting on delicate coaster favors designed by Genghis Kern.  The details of the party were perfectly executed: we couldn't have had the party in the first place without the lovely invites by Bird Dog Press and elegant calligraphy by Heather Swallow.

A small fashion show was staged to show off some of our favorites gowns, and our four models were done up beautifully by the experts at neighboring Scarlet Salon.

Our party planner Kerri Butler from A Touch of Bliss created the perfect ambience for the night: the combination of amazing food, music, friends, and lovely dresses wonderfully celebrated Anna Be's birthday.

The candid images below were captured for us by Sullivan Studios Photography, the offical photographer of the event.
