Real Wedding: Kestrel + Jacob
Last fall, Kestrel and Jacob were married in the stunning Boulder, Colorado countryside, just as the leaves had begun to change. It made for a truly breathtaking wedding! Our bride looked gorgeous in a Lyon gown by Anna Maier, holding a lovely fall bouquet complete with crimson-tinted leaves. We were simply blown away by the photo of the happy couple watching some deer while holding hands. It was definitely a wedding filled with enchanting moments. Walking down the aisle was like being in an energy portal of of love and support. While noticing all of our friends and family who had come to celebrate our union I of course was on the verge of tears. When I locked eyes with Jacob I was anchored into a feeling of confidence and peace. This is a moment to savor and I really appreciate that my dad encouraged me to slow down knowing this was both my moment to shine and to take it all in.
To future brides. Make sure you continue to make eye contact and steal glances from your husband even when your time is occupied by another guest. We took a few moments, just us, before the cocktails and reception to cheers our marriage.
Prepare for potential weather! We were so grateful that our fall wedding held the warmth of summer since it snowed earlier in September, but honestly looking back I wish I hadn't sweat the weather so much! The day will be meaningful and special regardless of the weather!
