Sarah and jeff were wed at the beautiful Della Terra Chateau in Estes Park, CO where they were surrounded by loving family and friends, mountains, and wildflowers. Sarah looked absolutely radiant in her Lela Rose gown and we think the photos from Selah Photography really speak for themselves on what a perfect duo these two make.
We asked Sarah a couple questions about her special day and here's what she had to say...
01. What was the best part of your wedding day?... The best part of my wedding day was having everyone I love--all of my family and friends--in one place at one time. Every part of the day, from getting ready with my best friends and family, to the fun photo shoots, and finally to the moment I walked outside and saw the man I love with a look of pure joy on his face, was incredibly happy. This day will forever be one of the best of my life.
02. Describe your real colorado wedding in two paragraphs?... The location of our wedding was Estes Park, CO. We got married at a beautiful venue called Della Terra. This place is amazing. It is situated right up against Rocky Mountain National Park, with trees and mountains providing the background of our outdoor ceremony. We were married by one of our dear friends, who was able to provide a tone of sincerity and grace to the service, as he knows both me and my husband well. One of the best parts of the ceremony was when my husband sang a few verses of a lovely song to me. He and I both managed to keep the waterworks at bay, though barely.
After the ceremony, cocktail hour was just yards away on an outdoor deck overlooking the park. There, we had a jazz quartet serenading guests who were enjoying the awesome scenery. During the reception, guests enjoyed a delicious meal, followed by toasts and dancing. Our outdoor photo booth was quite a hit, with guests frequenting the booth multiple times with various entertaining props. I managed to get in there once or twice, but I spent most of the evening on the dance floor. It was a perfect wedding day.
